I put together a rough timeline from what I have so far. Putting everything in order has made it easier to spot the weak points in the story. I think the best course of action will be to just try to keep adding as much as I can to the timeline. But I have had a hard time figuring out where the ending point should be. This can really make or break a series. Some series go on way too long and others end way too soon. I want to try to find the sweet spot somewhere in between. My current idea would have 3 major arcs. But from where I am now that seems like a lot. Perhaps I should just focus on the 1st arc and see where that takes me. I have also started writing out the storyline. I did this to further my character creation process. I want the characters to organically fit into the book.
